![]() ![]() All in all, it will be fine for a season to open the game with, but really needs to change down the road. ![]() I’d also imagine the economy will be more like “trade a ladder only for another ladder only” which will limit the ability for people to trade for them. Oh but you say you can still trader ladder only content after season that was earned during ladder? That little factoid is very dependent upon people playing non seasonal, and still is very limiting to the game’s content. It makes it less attractive to continue playing characters after a season, which in this day in age, might kill the game faster with shorter seasons (which ironically is supposed to be a factor in keeping the community more engaged, but will drive them away faster imo). Keeping the ladder only content does one thing very well however. In terms of single player, the SP mode plays to the ladder only difficulty, without having all the ladder only perks (the runewords) nor has the online only perks (ubers, dclone) despite the uber tristram keys still being a drop in single player, and again, having the difficulty of the online only ladder mode. The cube recipes are borderline, but I can see them simply as a quality of life while playing the ladder, thus being an incentive to play. You can learn more about game mechanics behind those abilities in our game guide. The ladder only runewords and uniques are still dumb, no matter whether it was two decades ago or in present time. It lowers resistances to light/fire/cold and defense of enemies within 13 yards radius by -85% (-5% per level). Infinity grants level 12 Conviction when equipped (Paladin aura usable by any class). +(0.5 Per Character Level) +0.5-49.5 To Vitality (Based On Character Level) (Ist) 30% Magic Find → +9 To Min DMG (Sol)ĥ0% Chance To Cast Level 20 Chain Lightning When You Kill An Enemy (Ber) 20% CB → +75 Poison DMG Over 5 Seconds (Tal) (Mal) Prevent Monster Heal → +2 To Mana After Each Kill (Tir) (Ber) 20% CB → Adds 5-30 Fire Damage (Ral) IOI Halberd has only 27 lvl req, while regular Infinity Halberd has 63. Infinity of Insight (IOI) is a combination of non-rune stats from first runeword and bonuses from runes of the second one, so here you have non-rune stats from Infinity runeword and bonuses from Ral / Tir / Tal / Sol runes. ![]()
